2012 Ducati 848 EVO Base Review
This is my first foray into Ducati sportbikes. After 17 years on the sportbike of the big companies the most, I have become very tired of the cookie cutter style and power output characteristics.I finally reached my goal to have something exotic and unique. This was the first motorcycle ever owned that has a legitimate soul. The sound alone makes it worth the moderate price. Amazing styling, power torque and low weight, and presitge is Ducati all.
Losses are ergos and heat. I'm 6'1 "and the clip-ons are murder on the wrists I know that from time to time, I will become more familiar feel,. But it's a long road to get comfortable. Heat coming from under the seat pretty intense as well on your feet and rear.
Overall, if my biggest complaint is this small, you can bet that the upsides heavily against losses. This machine is a dream to have. Apart from L-twin, razor sharp front end performance, and Italian styling, I walked into a new level of ownership and enthusiasm for sportbikes. If you are tired of the same old schlock coming out of the big four that Japan has to offer, it may be time to consider the 848 Evo. It makes a world of difference for me.
