Kindle to the iPhone

Amazon.com has released the Kindle for iPhone app, giving iPhone users access to 240,000 books on their handsets.

The app is now available for download from the App Store, has some downsides though.

With Kindle for iPhone, users can access all Kindle e-books in their Amazon accounts.

Bad news:

1. Kindle for iPhone currently supports only only books -- not newspapers or magazines.

2. Users need to use the Amazon website or the Kindle hardware to buy books. The app is only good for storing and viewing books you have bought from the website or the hardware.
