Steps to charge the Moblin live image on your netbook, nettop or PC:

Download the latest live image.

image of bytes to copy to a USB drive or burn to a CD.

Boot image on your netbook or nettop PC.

System Requirements Test Drive Moblin Netbook

CPU: Intel (R) Atom (TM) or Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 CPU (SSSE3 support)

Note: does not work with processors not Moblin SSSE3

Platforms with the GMA-500, Nvidia, ATI graphics chipset is not compatible.

Tested in netbook and nettop platforms

About Live Picture

The Moblin Image-Line is a hybrid image that can either burn to a CD or written to a USB drive. A netbook or a PC can be booted from USB keys or CDs without changing the hard disk, or configuration. This lets you test the disk image before installing it. When finished, simply remove the USB drive (or CD) and reboot. If you like what you see, you can install Moblin of the live image.

The image is available on the download page netbook. Save the image to a known location so that you can access it in step 2.

You need a USB drive, at least the ability of a downloaded image.

Note: A copy of the exact byte ISO image should be placed on your hard disk. Not enough simply to copy the image file on disk. Whether the current contents of the USB drive is completely erased.
