ANDROID OUTSELLS ALL OTHER MOBILE PLATFORMS

Google's Android mobile platform Symbian has become obsolete for the smartphone platform above the 4th quarter of 2010, research firm Canalys reports.

Worldwide sales of Android phones in the fourth quarter of 2010 was 33.3 million compared to EUR 31 million Symbian OS. Apple is in third place, 16.2 million IOS equipment will be delivered after RIM had 14.6 million and Microsoft with 3.1 million devices shipped.
